Last October 19th, I was in Miami visiting my father in the Kendall area. I am a professional artist and had made an appointment with a store in Coconut Grove to show my portfolio to the owner. I took the bus, trains and trolley to the store and back. I disembarked from my stop on SW 136th Avenue, not realizing that my portfolio was still on the bus until after it had gone. I have made very many phone calls in an effort to recover my portfolio, not only to the Metrorail office but the Miami police department; I went to the bus station; I ran an ad in the Miami Herald. No luck with anything.
This portfolio contains dozens of color copies of artwork I have done for clients and represents four year's worth of work. All of the duplicates were in the back of the portfolio. I have no other copies.
PLEASE, if you have my portfolio or know where it is, contact me! This portfolio was by far my most valuable material possession and I cannot recover the images in it! I need it back!!!!!
It has heavy black covers and plastic sleeves inside that contain my images, which are 11" x 17". The portfolio is almost full.
If you return it I will create a 12" x 18" original artwork for you complete with interpretation and explanation of the colors, forms, and symbols in the pastel painting. It will be one of a kind, not another like it in the world. If you have seen my art, you know what the quality of my work is.
I feel, having lost my portfolio, that I have lost my children. Please help bring them home to me!
And please, serious responses only!
Thank you,
Kay
